I will never again see my little girl walking down the aisle, dancing with her father.
She also made a poignant speech about her daughter Gianna: "We will not be able to see GG go to high school with Natalia. I cannot tell her how beautiful she is on her wedding day. I will never see her again my granddaughter walking down the aisle, dancing with her dad. (…) She probably would have become the best player in the WNBA. She would have made a huge difference in women's basketball. GG was determined to change the way everything the world considers women in sport. "
While the tribute ended with performances by Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé performed her two songs "Halo" and "XO", one of Kobe Bryant's favorite songs. After her performance, very moved, the singer looked at the top of the Staples Center, where the two jerseys of the legend sit enthroned. As if to signify that the "Black Mamba" will remain eternal for the Lakers and the NBA universe.
