Warriors’ Draymond Green listed as questionable for Detroit game

DETROIT — Warriors forward Draymond Green is questionable for Friday night’s game against the Pistons with a sore right shoulder.

Additionally, center Zaza Pachulia (left shoulder soreness) and reserve guard Patrick McCaw (nose contusion/concussion) are doubtful.

Green went through practice Thursday afternoon at University of Detroit Mercy. Before meeting with reporters, he had his right shoulder heavily wrapped.

“We’ll see how he does,” Kerr said of Green, who is from nearby Saginaw, Mich., and considers Detroit his annual homecoming game. “He’ll be a game-time decision tomorrow.”

Green missed Wednesday’s 101-87 win in Charlotte. In his absence, Jordan Bell earned his second career start, posting no points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 20 minutes.

McCaw has entered the NBA’s concussion protocol. There is no timetable to complete the protocol, and recovery times vary greatly based on the player and injury.

Pachulia did not return Wednesday after heading to the locker room with nagging shoulder pain less than five minutes in. Asked later whether he expects to play Friday in Detroit, Pachulia said he “most likely” won’t.

“The fact that he had a couple days off, then came back, played and aggravated it again, I can’t imagine playing him, against Andre Drummond, especially,” Kerr said of Pachulia, who will undergo an MRI on Thursday.
