Bulls point guard Kris Dunn had a strong game against the Pistons

The Chicago Bulls won a crazy game against the Detroit Pistons. Who was the Bulls player of the game?

The buzz around town was the long waited return of Zach LaVine. LaVine went out there and had a really nice debut. Despite his performance, I thought another Bulls player had a stronger game.

I’m going to give the player of the game award to point guard Kris Dunn. Against the Pistons, Kris Dunn had 18 points on 7 for 13 shooting. He also finished with eight assists, eight rebounds, and three steals. He only had two turnovers which isn’t bad at all.

Kris Dunn got off to a fast start as he had six assists, and three steals after the first quarter. Kris is showing why he belongs in this league.

I’m a big Jimmy Butler fan so I wasn’t happy when the Chicago Bulls traded him to Minnesota. But let me tell you something, now I understand why the Bulls made the trade.

The way Kris Dunn plays reminds me a lot of Patrick Beverley. Both players play Chicago style. Dunn is a player that doesn’t care who he is going against, because he thinks he can beat you every time. He has that swagger about him that I just love.

I have really enjoyed the way Kris Dunn has played this season. He is a student of the game, and continues to get better. Yes there has been games where the turnovers have been an issue, but you have to remember that this is only his second season in the league. Last season he didn’t really play a lot.

I give a lot of credit to Fred Hoiberg because Dunn looks very confident when shoots the ball. Last season with the Timberwolves, he didn’t look comfortable at all.

I’m a big believer in defense wins you games. Kris Dunn is an animal on defense. Every game he has at least a steal that leads to a dunk.

Against the Pistons, Dunn had three steals which was the 17th time this season that he has recorded three or more steals in a game. He takes his matchups very seriously, and makes his opponents work for every shot. Kris Dunn will become one of the best two way players in this league. He has a bright future in the NBA.
