Hip Hop USA was proud to present the 2nd annual Brooklyn Nets art competition with winners in the ball art division, Sam Jay, Kaheim Archer and Kenny Hardwork. Sneaker Grand Prize winner, Ingrid Alvarez. Hip Hop USA thanks all the incredible artists that turned out for the 2014 Brooklyn Nets Art Competition.
Brooklyn, NY – March 18, 2014 – Hip Hop USA in conjunction with Brooklyn Nets and Global Artists Coalition non-profit will be presenting the 2nd Annual Nets themed Urban art competition open to all levels of artists and their fans. The competition, player appearances and special performances will take place, take place Tuesday March 18th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Long Island University (LIU Brooklyn campus, 1 University Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11201), entrance at the corner of Dekalb and Flatbush avenues.
• Competing art categories: Basketballs and sneakers
• 2013 Winner, Sam Jay, available for press interviews and will be competing again this year
• Appearances and judging by Brooklyn Nets players, Hip Hop USA and Nets representatives
• Art career mentoring by Global Artist Coalition non-profit
• Live mural painting by featured artists
• Music, entertainment, light refreshments
• Sneakers, markers and materials supplied, no purchase necessary
