Interesting Stats and Betting Trends:

  • Portland is 11-7-0 ATS but only 4-5-0 ATS on the road, the Warriors are in the bottom of the league ATS at 8-11-0 but are 6-4-0 ATS at Oracle Arena.
  • The Trail Blazers have won two straight games against the Warriors but haven’t won at Oracle since November 23, 2013.
  • The Warriors will be without leading scorer Steph Curry as well as Draymond Green who leads the team in rebounds, assists, and steals.
  • Damian Lillard averages 26.8 points per game against the Warriors in his career, good for his second-best average against any NBA team. He averages 27 a game against the Lakers.
  • Both teams are coming off brutal blowout losses, the Warriors losing to the Thunder by 28 at home and the Trail Blazers losing by 43 to the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Best Prop Bet:

  • Damian Lillard Over 26.5 points (-110) – As we already pointed out, Lillard is at his best against the Warriors and that’s traditionally been with Steph playing. Lillard will have Quinn Cook on him to start the game and he should be able to score at will. The Blazers might not win but Lillard should be in for a big night.
  • Jusuf Nurkic Over 26.5 points + rebounds (-104) – The Warriors have always had their struggles against dominant big men and Nurkic is already averaging a double-double this season. With Green out, Nurkic should be able to grab plenty of boards and will be guarded by Damian Jones on the other end. It should be a nice game for the big man.
