The biggest superstars of the NBA converge on Charlotte, North Carolina, Sunday for the 68th All-Star Game in the NBA.
The game of stars is in the second year of its new format in which two players select the teams by a draw.
LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were named captains and made their respective choices on Thursday.
James's team consists of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Anthony Davis, who have been the center of attention in recent NBA weeks.
Antetokounmpo is joined by Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid and Kemba Walker, who hope to present a show in front of his local fans at the Spectrum Center.

Even though the NBA trade deadline has passed, the future of Davis remains one of the main topics of conversation in the league.
After the Los Angeles Lakers failed in their trade against the pelican leader of New Orleans, the Pelicans imposed a limit of a few minutes to Davis.
Friday against Minnesota, the restriction of the minutes prevented Davis from playing in the fourth quarter on his ground.

At the All Star Game, Davis has the opportunity to impose his will by playing alongside other superstars of the LeBron team.
Davis is averaging 29 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, and we will rely on him to be a force inside the game in a game where the slightest defense can make the difference.
There is also the intriguing aspect of the composition of his teammates, since he will play with James and Kyrie Irving at one point.
When Davis will be on the field alongside James, we'll have a glimpse of what the Lakers might look like in the future if they find a way to get the sixth-year player out of Kentucky .
Because the Boston Celtics are expected to step into the Davis service market this summer, it's worth looking at how the big player is playing alongside Irving, who could partner with the Kentucky product in the future.
Based on what we have seen in Walker's recent games, he is ready to spend a big night in front of his fans.
Walker, averaging 25.1 points per game, reached the 30-point mark in four of the five games he played in February.
In 28 home games, Walker averaged 24.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game as a star at the club.
Although most basketball fans are aware of Walker's production, they do not see him playing every night, as the Hornets are not among the most prominent NBA bands.

The All-Star game offers Walker an ideal opportunity to shine on a field where countless other superstars are trying to steal the show.
There is a precedent for all-star players in their local arena as Davis won the Most Valuable Player Award at the Smoothie King Center two years ago.
Since 2000, Shaquille O 'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Davis have won the Most Valuable Player honors in their local arena at the All-Star Game.
Walker has the potential to add his name to this group, especially if he enters Sunday with a wave of momentum coming from his recent wave of goals.
