Beginning 2019 with A winning evening of DFS on Yahoo There are five games in the NBA on Tuesday, so there are not a ton of options to choose from, but here are some players to target and avoid when you create your entry.

GUARDS

De'Aaron Fox, SAC vs POR ($ 35):

Fox's price is on the rise, but for good reason. He has been a recent rock, with at least 43.4 Yahoo points in eight of his last nine games. The only time he did not do it in this sequence was the Timberwolves fiasco when the Kings started playing. As the Kings have the second fastest pace (105.3 possessions per game) in the league, Fox should continue to have plenty of opportunities to create value on Tuesday.

T.J. McConnell, PHI at LAC ($ 10): McConnell averages only 20 minutes per game for the season, but one important reason why this number is so low is Markelle Fultz (shoulder) played a lot early in the year. Now on the sidelines, McConnell has averaged 26 minutes in his last 13 games. His statistics do not go out of the page, but with at least 20.1 Yahoo points in eight of his last ten games, it might be interesting to consider it as a tournament.

Guard to avoid

Reggie Jackson, DET to MIL ($ 19):

Jackson is not normally an effective offensive weapon and he was even worse this year with his 39.3% success. His assistants are also down 4.4 per match, which is not surprising given the frequency with which Blake Griffin helps facilitate the offense. With 27.8 points Yahoo or less in eight of his last nine games, Jackson is not very attractive at this price.

FORWARD

Tobias Harris, BAC vs. PHI ($ 28):

Harris averages 15.6 shots per game this season, but has averaged only 11 throwing attempts in his last three games. It does not provide a lot of aids or defensive statistics. He must be more aggressive on the offensive if he wants to give value to DFS. His price dropped by three dollars because of his difficulties, which gives him an excellent opportunity to deploy against a team of Sixers who has very little talent as an attacker. It should also be a high score match between two top-eight teams in the league in terms of pace.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR to SAC ($ 12): Aminu is not a flashy option, but he has scored at least 23.9 Yahoo points in five straight games. He was excellent on the boards during this sequence, with an average of 8.6 rebounds per game. The Blazers should have to play at a faster pace than usual to keep pace with the Kings, which would at least make Aminu the threat of getting closer to a double-double.

Transfer to avoid

Paul Millsap, DEN vs. NY ($ 22):

The Nuggets received vital reinforcements Saturday when Millsap returned from his injury to the toe. They were cautious with Millsap on his return, playing only 14 minutes. Until it is released from any minute restriction, it is too risky of an option at this price.

CENTERS

Jusuf Nurkic, POR to SAC ($ 28):

Nurkic scored just 28.9 Yahoo points against the Sixers on Sunday, but that's because he only played 21 minutes in the Blazers win. Previously, he had scored at least 36 Yahoo points in four of his last five contests. Its price has risen by five dollars since Sunday, but it remains a great option against the Kings, which allow the eighth most points of Yahoo per game (48.4) to be paid to the opposing centers.

Luke Kornet, NY to DEN ($ 12): We are approaching the mid-season of the NBA season and the Knicks have still not taken their rotation. Kornet has not played much this season, but has actually started his last two games. He took the opportunity to score respectively 36.1 and 29.7 points Yahoo. Kornet could he start again on Tuesday, but Enes Kanter (back) is listed as questionable. If he can not go on the field, Kornet will receive a ton of playing time. Even if Kanter is able to kick it out, Kornet could be worth the risk of playing in tournament at this cheap price.

Center to avoid

Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC vs POR ($ 26):

Cauley-Stein does not have exactly the same difficulties with at least 31.4 Yahoo points in five of his last six games. He clocked at least 32 minutes in each of those five games and was one of the main reasons for improving the Kings game this year. However, it's a tough match against the Blazers, who award the third-lowest Yahoo points per game (41.2) to opposing centers. Nurkic costs only two dollars more, so riding with Cauley-Stein instead of him is not entirely desirable given the confrontation.
